Dr. Kevorkian has recently been sentenced to serve 10 years in prison for his “assisted suicides” involvements. Readers were asked how they felt about death by choice for the terminally ill or those in chronic pain. Responses: It’s a tough question. I can see a doctor pulling the plug after consulting with the family when a patient is brain dead, but Dr. Kevorkian is wrong.; I don’t agree with it. I think it is morally wrong.; I’m not judging him, but I am not for it. We do everything we can to make dying easy, but we don’t dictate to do it. I don’t judge, but I don’t approve.
