The Pirates volleyball team had a very successful week. They played two games, winning both.

The first was against the Aberdeen Tigers on Sept. 19. They started a little slow on the first set, but picked up momentum and won.

The passing and defense of the girls improved on the second and third sets and didn’t give Aberdeen a chance to get much done.

Casey Rich, Britani Moser and Kelsie Clawson had big offensive games. Rich had 13 kills, Moser nine, and Clawson seven. Caitlyn Beckstead did great also in offense with assists. She is doing great making the team run smoothly. The blocking improves every match and Rich and Alexis Maw did a great job at the net. Moser and Kennedy Bingham led the defense for this game getting 13 digs and 11 digs, respectively.
