From the Logan Herald Journal

A 49-year-old Preston woman was killed Friday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 91 near Preston that closed all traffic lanes for nearly three hours.

Sofia Hull was traveling north on the highway in a 1989 Geo Metro at 1:37 p.m. when she veered into the southbound lanes and struck a 1994 GMC Sierra driven by Forrest Cole, 18, of Franklin, according to Idaho State Police.

The Sierra was then hit by a 1997 Chevrolet S10, driven by 19-year-old Chandler Marx of Preston.

Hull was pronounced dead at the scene, and Marx was transported to the Franklin County Medical Center by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries, according to the ISP. Cole was not transported anywhere.

Police say they don’t know why Hull veered into the southbound lanes, but that alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

All three individuals were wearing their seat belts.

The incident was reported to be nearest milepost 10.
