FRANKLIN – The Idaho Days committee announced activities for Idaho’s first-town celebration on June 27-29.
On June 27, the historic relic hall will open at 11 a.m. A softball tournament will be held from 6-9 p.m. At 9 p.m. a lighting of the 1860 on Little Mountain will be held.
On Friday, the relic hall will open at 11 a.m. At 6 p.m. the softball tournament will continue. At 7 p.m. the Miss Idaho Days Pageant will be held at the LDS Church.
On Saturday activities include a flag raising ceremony on Little Mountain and at the Franklin City Park at 6:45 p.m. A one-mile, fun run will begin at 7 a.m. Breakfast in the park will be held at 7 a.m.
Vendors at the park will begin at 8 a.m. The Idaho Days parade will start at 10 a.m. An archery booth will start at 11 a.m. Tractor pulls will also begin at 11 a.m. Checketts Amusements will open at 11 a.m. A treasure hunt will start at 11 a.m. Free kids games will start at 11 a.m. as well. A candy dash will be held on the soccer field at 11:15 a.m.
