The two high school football coaches in the county are both going with the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVII. PHS Coach Nick Hyde said he wanted the 49ers because it was a West Coast team.

WSHS Coach Moser said he didn’t really have a reason but he felt like the 49ers had the better team.

“I just hope it’s a close game. I want to watch a good football game,” Hyde said.

The PHS coach said he was going to hang with some extended family to watch the game. His brother-in-law throws a party and he intends to be there.

Moser said he likes to just chill with his wife and kids to watch the game. He wants to concentrate on the game.

Super Bowl XLVII will be on Feb. 3, between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Preston Citizen readers can win up to $50 by playing Super Bowl Picks 2013.

Anyone can enter and all you have to do is circle the team you think will win and the final score. The tie–breaker will be the closest guess of how many yards you think the Ravens quarterback Joe Flucco will throw.

Readers can return an entry form to any of the following participating merchants: Stokes MarketPlace, Dish Network, True Value Mart, Lamonts or The Preston Citizen by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1. There is a limit of one entry per household.
