The Preston Indians suffered two losses last week in the form of Century and Bonneville, dropping their overall record to 6-9.
At home on Saturday, Jan. 26, Preston played Bonneville (14-2) and lost 87-58. A slow start hurt the Indians and they never really seemed to recover, though they did play better as the game progressed.
They ended the first quarter down 26-10 and while they didn’t gain any ground, they only allowed Bonneville to add five more to their lead in the second quarter and began to build a bit of momentum.
Preston nearly tied the Bees in points scored in the third quarter with 21-20, but they couldn’t hold on to that momentum in the fourth and Bonneville pulled even further ahead.
