The Pirate girls basketball team played the North Gem Lady Cowboys on Thursday, Jan. 10, and West Side lost 47-44.
The Pirates held a lead on the Cowboys until the very end. North Gem’s Maegen Christensen scored a three pointer with a minute left, tying the game.
West Side’s Addie Cook goes after a loose ball in a game against North Gem.
Then North Gem’s EmiLee Simons scored free throws to guarantee a win for the Cowboys. The Lady Pirates play Grace and Soda Springs this week, both away games.
