Clifton City Council is putting together a Transportation Planning Study, and they are asking residents to complete a survey in order to prioritize projects, such as drainage of the roads, construction and maintenance of streets and the placing of street signs. Other survey questions concern bike/ pedestrian paths, traffic safety and intersection improvements.
Aaron Swenson, of Forsgren Associates, met with Clifton last week, to discuss this survey. The city received money for the study in December, a $50,000 state grant which will be shared with the city of Oxford. The survey, said Swenson, will help in completing a $100,000 grant application for those projects.
