The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is holding a scoping meeting in Preston and other communities next week to gather input on big-game regulations for the 2013 hunting season.
The meeting in Preston will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Larsen-Sant Library, 109 S. 100 East.
Other meetings are scheduled at 6:30 p.m. for:
• Jan. 14, Montpelier, Bear Lake Senior Center, 115 S. 4th Street.
• Jan. 16, Soda Springs, Soda Springs Senior Center, 60 S. Main Street.
• Jan. 17, Malad City, Senior Citizens Center, 26 N. Main Street.
• Jan. 22, Pocatello, IDFG Office, Hunter Ed Room, 1345 Barton Road.
Fish and Game staff will present fall 2012 check station data and present other information relevant to big-game hunting and management issues in this part of the state. IDFG officials encourage members of the public to bring their questions, comments and ideas to these scoping meetings.
