Indians drop close game with Century

Preston’s first district game was at home against Century on Wednesday, Dec. 18, where they lost 57-54. The Indians managed to stay in the game and make Century sweat, despite having to come back from an 11 point deficit late in the third quarter.

Preston’s Tate Johnson drives past Century stand-out player Malek Harwell on Wednesday in the first district game for the Indians. Preston dropped the encounter by three points.

Down just two at the end of the first quarter, things began to slip a bit in the second and third. With the score at 30-26 to start the second half, things went downhill for the Indians. After being down, Preston began to turn things around with better defensive play and ball distribution.
