Grapplers do well at home

In Preston’s second home meet of the season, Indian wrestlers grappled with opponents from Bear Lake, Malad and West Side on Thursday.

In the first dual meet against Bear Lake, Preston emerged with a team win of 56-24.

Seth Gregory, Cameron Dietrich, Justin Longhurst and Josh Greene each won by pinning their opponent. Kieton Keller, Devin Porter, Sage Buckingham, Erick Silva and Kaden Cole each won by points. Austin Harris won by injury default.

In the dual meet against the Malad Dragons, Porter, Silva and Cole each won with a pin. Keller, Dietrich and Longhurst won their matches by points. Greene and Harris picked up forfeit points to add to the team total. Preston won this meet, as well, with a team score of 42-36.
