The Preston girls played the Broncos in Blackfoot on Tuesday, Dec. 18. The road trip ended in a 51-41 loss.
A poor first quarter is mainly to blame where Preston allowed the Broncos a 19-2 lead to start things off and ended the quarter trailing 15.
“We just fell apart at the beginning,” Coach Belinda Taylor said. “We came back and got in the game after that. I felt better about the rest of the game.”
The second quarter went much better, as the Indians pulled things together defensively, limiting Blackfoot to just five points. The offense picked up as well. Preston closed the gap to 24- 18 by the half.
