The Indians were host to the Bear Lake Bears on Friday, Dec. 14 and lost 58-49.
A slow start in the first quarter by Preston was really the difference in the game. The Bears surged ahead in the first quarter with a 21-10 lead and though the Indians cut that lead to six at the half, they couldn’t overcome the first quarter deficit.
Preston outscored Bear Lake in the second and fourth quarters and kept it tight in the third as well. Overall they played good defense and just needed a few more shots to fall.
