The West Side girls battled against the Bear Lake Bears Friday, Dec. 14, losing 49-38.
Bear Lake had a really strong first half and built a 28-8 lead at the half. The girls battled back in the second half, but failed to gain a victory. Bear Lake played good defense and made it hard for the Lady Pirates to get a rhythmic offense going.
In the second half the girls played a smart, quick defense and slowed down Bear Lake’s offense.
