Preston High School’s intermediate and ladies’ ensemble and jazz choirs will perform in concert in Salt Lake City on Thursday, Dec. 6, at Temple Square and other venues including the Cathedral of the Madeline.

They will also be at the LDS Church Office Building, North Visitors Center on Temple Square and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, culminating at Assembly Hall on Temple Square at 7:30 p.m.

The same groups will be performing locally at Preston High School auditorium on Wednesday, Dec. 12, according to choral teacher Paul Seare.

The choir has 33 members and the jazz choir consists of 16 students, Seare said.

The West Side High band will perform on Thursday, Dec. 13, in the Dahle Performing Arts Center.

It includes students from the middle school, high school, and a select group of guitar students, music teacher Jaron Packer said. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

Two days later, on Dec. 15, the choir, including some guitar students, will perform in concert at the Dahle Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m.

West Side musicians will also be traveling to Temple Square for a concert on Friday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. at one of the Temple Square Visitor’s Centers and at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall.
