Preston bowlers compete

On Saturday, Nov. 10, the Preston Special Olympic team traveled to Pocatello for the Southeast Regional bowling competition.

Seventeen of the team’s athletes participated in the event. Each athlete bowls in individual heats against other athletes with the same skill level.

The results in the ramp category – Cage Allen, first; Kelsy Biggs, second; Bill Carter, first; Tiana Fellows, second; Chelsy Hollingsworth, first; Tony LeFevre, first; and Megan Winward, second.

The results in singles were – Javen Balzer, third; Adrianna Barnett, second; Mike Bartholomew, third; Tyler Eddy, first; Riley Elison, second; Conner Nash, first; Jonathan Porter, first; Clint Rasmussen, fourth; Scotty Smart, first; and Allison Wall, first.

The athletes had a great time. The coaches are very proud of them and would like to thank all of those who helped make this event happen.
