The Lady Indians are off and running with new Head Coach Belinda Taylor. They kicked off their season with the Preston Jamboree on Saturday, Nov. 3. Preston’s home opener against Burley was Saturday, Nov. 10, where they lost 59-36. The Indians travelled to Bear Lake on Wednesday, Nov. 14, where they suffered a 42-39 loss.
Preston scored nine points to the Bears’ 15 in the first quarter but cut the lead to two by the half limiting Bear Lake to just four points in the second quarter. The Indians came back after the break to score 12 points, but they were unable to keep the Bears from extending their lead with 17.
In the final quarter Preston pushed hard both on defense and offense keeping themselves solidly in the game and giving themselves an opportunity to win, but in the end they fell short by just three points.
