No walls are being knocked out or nails driven yet. But preparations are continuing for a remodeling project at both the hospital and nursing home at Franklin County Medical Center.
CEO Mike Andrus said construction could start by late May or June on remodeling and improvements at both facilities. Details are still being worked out.
“Part of the challenge will be to establish phases to minimize disruption,” he told The Citizen Monday morning. “For example, we may start with the nursing home and labor rooms at the same time because they would not disrupt each other or the hospital.”
