The best team performance the Preston boys’ cross country squad has produced this season was carved out on its home turf, as they swept a 10-team field at the Preston Invitational on Oct. 10.
“This is probably the best they’ve done all season, with the guys really stepping it up,” said Coach Tyler Jones. “We had 10 guys finish under 19 minutes. Hopefully this momentum will carry them into the district meet, and we’ll have a great team effort next week, as well.”
