On Sept. 22 four youth bowlers competed in the annual High 4 tournament in Boise. The High 4 tournament is where the top two boys and top two girls from each bowling center in the state compete as a team against the other centers.
Preston’s High 4 team consisted of Z.J. Harris, Misty Inglet, Jareth Christensen and Sara Kofoed Larsen. This is the second year in a row these bowlers have been the top four to compete.
They all bowled extremely well earning Preston a second place finish. It’s the first time Preston has ever finished in the top two. Harris also took home the high series for boys.
Preston continued to be well represented as three local youth bowlers were voted to the Idaho State Youth Leaders Board. Zerick Harris was selected as the Idaho State Eastern Director, Z.J. Harris was selected as the Idaho State Vice President, and Misty Inglet was selected as Idaho State President.
The Preston Association and the junior league is proud of these accomplishments and look forward to the start of their regular season which begins on Oct. 13.
