A fumble near the end of the third quarter on Friday night spelled disaster for the Preston Indians as Rigby took the ball and returned it for a touchdown.

That mistake gave the hosts needed momentum going into the last quarter and the Trojans won the game 35-28.

Preston had led the entire game up to that point.

The last two minutes of the third quarter saw 21 points scored, but 14 of those were by Rigby. The Indians scored their third touchdown of the night on a one-yard run by Kaden Cole with 1:14 left in the third and it looked like they had things in hand.

But Rigby answered right back with a long touchdown run of their own after it appeared like Preston had them stopped. The Trojans, on a fourth-and-long, turned the play into a 39-yard score.

On the Indians next possession, they gave up the ball on a fumble. Rigby scooped up the loose ball and ran it back for another touchdown, gaining a lot of confidence and momentum going into the last stanza.
