If Preston could put an entire game together it would have a winning season. The team (1-4) showed Friday night against Pocatello it can play with the best in the fifth-sixth district conference.
But a slow start cost Preston the game and Pocatello handed the southern Indians a 35-24 loss. The first half of the contest seemed eerily like the previous week’s game against Blackfoot. Preston could muster no offense and their opponent scored at will on the ground and through the air.
