After beginning the week with a disappointing loss to Pocatello, the Indian girls finished with victories over Bonneville and Marsh Valley.
Tuesday, Oct. 2, they travelled to Blackfoot (score not available at press time) where a win will give them second seed in the district and a bye the first game of the district playoffs.
Freshman keeper Brooke Winward earned the 2-0 shutout on the road against Marsh Valley on Saturday. Preston played well the first half where they scored both their goals early. Kassie Burton was able to convert a Tess Hobbs throw in just four minutes into the game for a 1-0 lead. Kenidee Hyde made it 2-0 when she headed in Anna White’s corner kick in the 17th minute.
