It was a tale of two halves and the second one gave the Preston Indians some hope for the future of the football season.
Preston played Blackfoot, the reigning 4A football champs, on Friday night in Blackfoot. And although they lost the game 34-21, they proved to themselves and some other folks that they could play good football with one of the best teams in the state.
The Broncos jumped on Preston early in the first quarter and kept their momentum up the entire first half, capitalizing on their first five drives of the game to take a commanding 34-0 lead at the break.
