The Indian girls soccer team was successful in their first away game on Sept. 11, beating district rival Pocatello 3-1. The victory puts their record at 7-1-0 and 2-1-0 in district play.

A 3-0 lead put Preston in a good position and made Pocatello’s lone goal in the 66th minute far less of a threat. “After struggling a bit last week with the loss to Century and not playing well in the victory against Rigby, I thought the girls responded really well and we got back to playing the way that we know we can,” said Coach Brandon Lyon.

The Indians will get another shot at Century when they travel to Pocatello on Thursday, Sept. 20, to play at 4:30 p.m. On Tuesday, Sept. 25, they will host Pocatello at 4 p.m.
