Dog wins top honors

Among the 32 entries in the Eastern Idaho State Fair Dog Show, Amelia Roberts, a 17 year-old senior at Preston High School and her dog, Shadow, shined. The Whitney resident and daughter of Earl and Mary Roberts was one of the 15-member Franklin County 4-H club K9ers who came away with a couple of first places and became the top dog to boot.

Roberts was pretty excited with the results of her efforts at the Eastern Idaho State Fair.

“I really enjoyed competing with my dog. I love my dog. She’s pretty smart and knows how to behave when she competes,” Roberts said.
