Nate Nyman’s 134 total of eight-under-par won him the 2012 Preston City Amateur that ended on Sunday.
After an opening 69, Nyman finished with birdies on 15, 17, and 18 in the final round to close with a 32 on the back and a tournament low of 65. He won by six shots over Brendan Dennis.
Dennis fired a 69 in round one and then finished with a 71 in round two. He was able to close the gap with Nyman, but Nyman pulled away with his blistering finish.
