Dr. Chelsie Morrison is due to start seeing patients this week, sharing a medical suite with Dr. Lynn Eskelson.
An application for her privileges at Franklin County Medical Center was formally approved by the hospital’s board of trustees during their monthly meeting last week, said Hospital CEO Mike Andrus.
He said Dr. Morrison is seeing patients this week and is working out of the hospital until construction at the doctor’s offices is complete.
“We are remodeling the offices of Dr. Lynn Eskelson and former doctor Mark Gibby. We have knocked out a wall separating the two waiting rooms,” he said.
“When we are finished, we will have one waiting room and one receptionist area for Dr. Eskelson, Dr. Morrison and Dr. Patton, who is expected to arrive in October.
