The annual Preston Rotary July 24 Fireworks Spectacular will take place this year this Friday, July 20, at the rodeo grounds in Preston.

Both aerial and ground displays will start at approximately 9:45 p.m. The cost of admission is the same as last year at $2 per individual and $10 for a family pass (immediate family only — mom, dad and kids).

Advance ticket sales are available at Stokes MarketPlace.

Food booths manned by Rotary Club members open at 7 p.m. and will feature hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, popcorn and candy.

Pre-fireworks entertainment for the event starts at 7:30 p.m. and includes: Click n’ Time Cloggers, led by Autumn Coats. Her clogging group will present several dance routines. Additional entertainment will be presented by other local talent.

In her 14th year of teaching, Coats’ teams have garnered a number of awards. She works with children from four years to adult. A number of her students will be performing. In addition to clogging, Coats teaches ballroom dancing.
