Mrs. Kathy Bright, of the West Side School District, is retiring this school year. She began her career at West Side School District teaching kindergarten in 1983 at the old Weston School. Four years later, she and Mrs. Beverly Turman switched jobs, allowing Mrs. Bright to teach first grade for the next seven years.
