“I’m ecstatic that now we can start to do some more planning,” said Franklin County Library Board Chairman Leo Silvernagel, following results of Tuesday’s vote.
About three-fourths of Franklin County voters who went to the polls approved implementation of a permanent override tax levy. The issue has had to come before voters every two years, giving less stability for the library board and staff in staffing levels, overall planning, Silvernagel said.
