At the 4A State track meet last Thursday and Friday in Boise, the boy’s team finished fifth, just three points points from winning a trophy.
The girl’s team finished 13th. Both teams had some really good performances.
Brennyn Dunn placed second in the 110 hurdles. Olivia Seamons took second in the triple jump. Kylee Wakley finished in second in the 400m. The boys took second in the 4×200 and medley.
Ryan Wakley placed third in the 300 hurdles. Cody McKay and Derek Bailey also took third, respectively, in the 200m and 400m.
The girls placed fifth in the 4×200. Cody McKay placed sixth in the 100m and Dan Seamons took sixth in the 800 m.
The boy’s 4×200 runners broke the state record, but still finished second. The boy’s medley broke the school record. The girl’s 4×200 was 0.4 seconds shy of the school record.
