Fish and Game expects good fishing

Most reservoirs across Franklin County will be stocked with catchable trout by this weekend, according to the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.
Stocking traditionally has occurred soon after ice-off at the reservoirs in late March or April. But a sharp-billed Commorant sea bird, that has made in-roads into in-land areas across the United States, uses Franklin County as a stop-over area along its migration route and has impacted local fisheries by delaying stocking efforts.
