Franklin County’s jobless percentage continues to be in the basement, in this case a good thing, compared to many of the Gem State’s other 43 counties.
Regional Idaho Department of labor (DoL) Regional Economist Dan Cravens said the county continued its traditionally low unemployment numbers at 271 out of work and a 4.3 percent joblessness rate. That figure is shared by one neighbor, Oneida County, while another adjacent county, Bear Lake County, reported 4.8 percent and Caribou 6.5 percent.
