Soils team places nationally

Members of Preston’s FFA Chapter Soil and Land Judging team recently competed in the 61st annual National Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma City and placed 19th.

The team previously was crowned Idaho FFA champions in the event and represented the local community and state in the national contest.

Preston’s FFA state champion soil and land judging team placed 19th recently among 91 schools at a national competition. Team members include, l-r: Dan Evans, Colby May, Mike Dallin, Jarek Crossley, Ethan Rawlings, Jacob Crossley and advisor Larin Crossley.

“Members tested their individual and team skills against 91 other teams from across the nation,” said Larin Crossley, FFA advisor.
