Voters across Franklin County and other communities in southeastern Idaho will go to the polls on Tuesday to vote for several candidates in local and state races during the May primary election.
Polls will open at traditional polling places from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Absentee balloting is now underway at the Franklin County Clerk’s office Voters can cast ballots absentee until Friday, May 11, at 5 p.m.
Results from Franklin County will be posted on The Citizen’s facebook page on May 15 as soon as they are available, which should be sometime after 10 p.m., according to local officials.
Four county positions are up for election this month and there will be a contested race for Franklin County Sheriff.
