A grant just received from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will restore the bell tower of the 122-year-old Oneida Stake Academy building.
The grant was sponsored by the Bear River Chapter of the DAR, headed by Joanne Jensen, of Logan.
It is part of a national initiative to, “give financial support to projects in local communities that exemplify the mission of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism,” states the DAR website.
