The Indians’ season ended with a 4-1 loss to Century in a 4A Fifth District Tournament elimination game Saturday in Pocatello.

Preston went two-and-out in the tournament.

“We played Century last week (May 1) at Halliwell Park,” said Coach Brandon Ormond. “We lost 4-1, but had some very good plays on defense and great pitching by Brayden Jorgensen. Our bats were quiet again. I am not sure why because we are an aggressive team. We have proven that in the past. Jorgensen threw a complete game with six Ks and only one walk. They never hit him hard. We just never gave him the run support on offense. Pocatello played Century in game two of the tournament on Thursday. After a long pitchers’ duel, Poky broke it open and won 8-4.
