The Preston girls softball team lost to Century 7-1 on Senior Day on Thursday.

“We had our few defensive errors, (but) we held them pretty well,” coach Ashlee Larsen said. “We just couldn’t get hot with the sticks. So, you know, I said (to the girls), ‘Some games you just let go and you don’t look back at.’ We have a tough district, and when we’re playing well we’re right there.”

Preston’s Lacee Rallison (14) chases down and tags out a Century player on her way to third in a game on Thursday. The girls lost 7-1.

Three hits by Preston were infield singles from Whitney Tracy, Crissy Hinckley and Stephanie Davis that didn’t amount to much offensively and the Indians didn’t score until the seventh inning when Lacee Rallison hit a fly ball to left field.
