It wasn’t how Preston baseball team wanted to end the regular season, but the Indians lost to Century 14-3 on April 25 in Pocatello.
“We had strong pitching for the most part, but a few errors early made it tough for our pitchers,” said coach Brandon Ormond. “We ended up playing catch-up after falling behind 4-0 in the first inning. We are a good team, we just need to play like it early in the game.
“Karingtyn Hobbs threw well, but had little support on offense. We have to swing the bats aggressively with men in scoring position.”
