The Indians softball team managed just two hits and struck out 12 times on the day, falling to the Pocatello Indians 8-2 in a Fifth District softball game on Saturday in Preston.
“A big lack of hitting,” Preston head coach Ashlee Larsen said. “There’s a little bit of intimidation put on by their pitcher. She’s a little bit quicker and we didn’t bring our hands around soon enough.
“She has a wicked curve ball, so I think now that we kind of know what she’s pitching this year, and how, we can get a hold of it.”
