This last week was a change for the West Side Track Team as they attended the Cache-Box Invite at Utah State University. It was a two day event going from Wednesday through Thursday.
Even though it was West Side’s Spring Break, they still had quite a few kids go to the meet.
There were five other schools there besides West Side: Sky View, Logan, Mountain Crest, Bear River, and Box Elder. It was a great track meet for the Pirates to go to because they were the only 2A School against 3A and 4A schools. It helped push the team to try harder and do better.
This next week the Pirates will host their first meet of the year. It will be held on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
