The Franklin County Reading Association, Larsen-Sant Library, along with Preston School District, are sponsoring a Dr. Seuss birthday party in the Pioneer Gym.
It will start at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7. Ice cream will be served, thanks to the United Dairyman of Idaho. Cookies will also be available.
There will be book give-aways, games, and stories throughout the evening. All children do need to be supervised with their families.
The Book Fair is sponsored by the PTO organization. They work many hours to make this a success, said library officials.
During Read Across America Week, going on at the same time, the library will also have a Scholastic Book Fair at the Pioneer Library. This is a great time to get new books and read-a-louds for the home, officials added.
