DAYTON – West Side’s first-year head volleyball coach Jerri Obrien has been named 2A Volleyball Coach of the Year by the Idaho State Coach’s Association.

Obrien took the Pirates to the state championships and West Side won the state crown several weeks ago.

“It is an honor to be recognized – especially my first year as a varsity coach. West Side has always had a talented and respected volleyball program and you just hope as a new coach that you can help continue that tradition,” she told The Citizen.  For the full story subscribe to The Preston Citizen: in print or online.
