Preston’s Karingtyn Hobbs, a senior guard, drives to the basket over a Century defender. Preston won the game and will play Pocatello at home on Friday in a crucial district match-up.

Preston continues to do well going down the home stretch winning two more games last week.

Back-to-back games didn’t seem to bother the Indians on Saturday, Jan. 28, when they defeated visiting Burley 61-56 in a make-up game avenging their season opening loss.

Interestingly enough, Preston scored the same amount of points (61) but this time held the Bobcats to nine points less.

It was Burley who held the momentum the first quarter. A 9-0 run gave them the lead and they outscored the Indians 19-12, but the second quarter was all Preston.
