Goals for 2012 have been approved by the Franklin County Medical Center board of trustees, ranging from a new operating room to two new labor and delivery rooms.
Hospital Administrator Mike Andrus said the list of goals approved include improved marketing planning, community survey and nursing home nurses station remodel, hospital patient room facelift, and meeting federal “meaningful use” computer requirements.
Other goals okayed include hospital nurses station remodel, improving operating room work flow efficiency, fund-raising planning, the new operating room and labor and delivery rooms.
Work with the medical staff on internal medicine physician recruiting and after-hours physician services was also recommended.
