RITCHIE – TURNBOW
Wid and Dana Ritchie of Afton, Wyo., are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Makenzie Lyn, to Dallas Richards Turnbow, son of Benjamin and Shari Turnbow of Weston, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on Sept. 3, 2015.
A reception will be held in their honor at the Turnbow residence that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. A reception will also be held in Afton at the Canyon View Park on Sept. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. All friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating this happy occasion.
Kenzie is a 2014 graduate of Star Valley High School and LDS Seminary. She was a member of the Star Valley High volleyball team. Dallas attended West Side High School and participated in varsity football, basketball, and track. He served honorably in the New Mexico Albuquerque LDS Mission. Both Kenzie and Dallas are currently attending BYU-Idaho.
The couple is registered at Hastings in Afton, Target, and U&I Furniture in Preston.
HUNT – VISSER
Nathan and Rebecca Hunt are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Tara Jean Hunt, to James McKay Visser, son of Mark and Tana Visser, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on Sept. 5, 2015. A reception will be held in their honor later that day from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Mapleton LDS Ward building.
Tara graduated in 2012 with honors from Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke, Va. She enjoyed playing softball for ten years, with her dad as the coach for the majority of that time. She also was involved in marching, concert, and jazz band, as well as instrumental ensemble. Tara learned to play the trombone, piano, organ, and guitar.
McKay is a 2009 graduate of Preston High School. He enjoyed being part of the Preston ballroom team for four years. He was also involved in soccer, wrestling, and pole vaulting. McKay served for two years in the Mexico Merida LDS Mission and is an Eagle Scout. Both Tara and McKay are both four-year seminary graduates.
Tara and McKay met at BYU-Idaho through mutual friends and church. They enjoy reading, being outside, and seeing who burns the most meals per week. They will continue their education this fall at BYU-Idaho where Tara is studying history elementary education and McKay is studying applied mathematics.
They would like to thank all of their family and friends for their love and support as they start this new chapter in their lives.
CHIPMAN – LARSEN
Brian and Teresa Chipman, of Preston, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Brynn Chipman, to Robert Paul Larsen, son of Paul and Camille Larsen, of Weston, on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor at the Weston City Park from 6-8 p.m. that day.
Robert is an Eagle Scout and 2012 graduate of West Side High School where he participated in football and track. He also served a full time LDS mission in Roseville, Calif.
Brynn graduated from Preston High School in 2013 where she played four years of soccer and enjoyed choir and track.
They will be attending BYU-I this fall.
The couple is registered at Kohls, Amazon, Walmart and Bed Bath and Beyond.

LONGHURST – WHEELER
Sheldon and Candy Longhurst, of Mink Creek, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Tiffany Longhurst, to Spencer Wheeler, son of Shane and Tonya Wheeler, of Parma, Idaho. The couple will be sealed in the Logan LDS Temple, Saturday, Aug. 29. A reception will be held that evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Longhurst residence in Mink Creek. All friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating this happy occasion. In case of inclement weather the reception will be held at the Mink Creek LDS Ward building.
Spencer and Tiffany met at Walt Disney World in Florida while working for the College Disney program. They dated while there and then Spencer served an LDS mission in the Philippines Tacloban Mission and Tiffany served in the California Anaheim LDS Mission. Many letters kept their hearts close to each other during that time. Tiffany attended BYU-Idaho after returning from her mission while waiting for Spencer to return. The couple plans to make their home in Parma, Idaho, where Tiffany will attend cosmetology school and Spencer will continue working and pursuing his education in business.
They would like to thank their family and friends for all of their love and support.
