The Indian girls played Bonneville on Thursday, Jan. 19, in their final home game of the regular season.
Though it ended in a 46-34 loss, Preston fared far better than in their meeting earlier this season when they lost by 30.
Senior Regan Hyde led Preston in scoring with 18 points.
Preston scored first and led for awhile in the first quarter, but Bonneville was able to catch up and take a two point lead into the second quarter.
The Bees extended that lead to eight in the second half and maintained it for the rest of the game.
Preston trailed in the second half, but never gave up and let the game get away from them. Bonneville’s three-point shooting and long stretches without scoring kept the Indians from closing the gap.
The Bees took home a 46-34 victory on Preston’s senior night.
The Indians lost 57-28 on the road at Soda Springs on Saturday, Jan. 21.
They played their last regular-season game on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Century (score not available at press time).
