A professional services contract between Franklin County and the Southeastern Idaho Council of Governments (SICOG) was signed Tuesday for the administration of a $500,000 block grant to fund improvements sought by the Fairview Water District.
Last November voters living within the district approved a $1.9 million bond to pay for redevelopment of two Foster Creek Springs, fencing and berming springs and spring boxes, improvements to a disinfection system, and construction of a 225,000-gallon water storage tank.
