The West Side Pirates opened district play on the road on Wednesday and soundly defeated the Aberdeen Tigers by a 20-point margin 50-30.
Coach Tyler Brown said he believes the team played its best defense of the year in the win. He singled out JD Cook, Mason Lemmon and Dylan Turnbow for their defensive efforts. (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
